East Melbourne House
A three storey x 10m wide mural commissioned to enhance a friend's blank wall next to her house.
The design was done as a watercolour and pencil sketch depicting anither house with an archway through to an elaborate, colourful Italianate garden and a number of open windows through which we could see the life within.
Where the windows were partly closed I painted the 'reflections' of actual houses opposite.

Norman Park, AustraliaI am a Brisbane based artist, painter, and art tutor working with acrylics, oils, watercolours, inks and watercolour pencils on pieces that range from A5 finished watercolours on paper to 3-storey high trompe l'oeil artworks on the side of houses.
As a result of working as a designer in the film industry for many years another skill I have developed is to create convincing scenic arts effects - such as making a concrete wall appear to be made of marble or antique timber !
