This original graphite pencil portrait was created as a private commission from a client-supplied photograph. The focus was not only on achieving a strong likeness, but also on capturing the subject’s expression, character and natural warmth through careful tonal work and fine detail.
Each portrait is individually hand drawn using professional artist materials, with particular attention given to facial structure, skin tones, eyes, expression and subtle transitions between light and shadow.
I accept custom portrait commissions from photographs for personal collections, meaningful gifts, birthdays, anniversaries, memorials and special occasions. Single portraits, couples and family portraits can be commissioned in a range of sizes.

Renowned for my hyper-realistic paintings, I got good at capturing the essence of portraits and landscapes with striking detail and emotional depth. My large-scale wall murals and installations like the Cooling Towers of Soweto, has been pivotal in outdoor advertising campaigns, blending aesthetic allure with commercial insight, marking urban landscapes with visual splendour.
My sculptural works, utilising materials like carbon fibre and epoxy resin, showcase a fusion of traditional artistry with modern techniques, reflecting my commitment to evolving art forms.
As a VFX compositor and Augmented Reality artist, l skilfully navigate the realms of stop-motion and 2D animation, demonstrating his versatility across digital and traditional mediums.
In roles as a creative director, art facilitator, operation director, and lead artist, I have exemplified leadership and artistic vision, guiding diverse projects with precision and creativity.
