Commissioned Family Portrait

The client commissioned me to create a painting from a photograph as a special gift. The original photo had a busy, distracting street background, so I replaced it with a soft, blurred background to draw more attention to the two main subjects. I'm very grateful that the client gave me the creative freedom to make these artistic decisions.
