Commissioned charcoal drawing on toned paper

The client requested to have an old photo — taken about 150 years ago by an Australian painter — recreated as a sketch. Since the photo was quite blurry, I added more facial and hand details while doing my best to preserve the likeness of the painter and his daughter. It’s truly my honour to recreate the portrait of an Australian artist
