I'm a born and raised Byron local who spent my youth teaching myself photorealism in my family home in Ewingsdale.
In my early 20’s, while studying at National Art School, I was invited to take part in Australia’s largest international art commission – painting the ceiling of the Musee du quay Branly (Museum for Indigenous Arts) in Paris.
I returned home from Paris to complete my BFA at Southern Cross Uni, and have received multiple art awards including five Peoples Choice Awards and an Emerging Artist Award at the Northern Rivers Portrait Prize judged by Michael Zavros.
I have a diverse range of art skills ranging from realism to abstract, and my commercial endeavours include hand-painted window art for Wide Open Road cafe, a bespoke mural for the Byron Bay General Store cafe, a shop fit-out for Mahico homewares and commissions for luxury guest house The Villa General. I have also designed custom tattoos as well as numerous charcoal portrait commissions.
Recently, inspired by the stories voiced by women, I produced a series of work about restoring the feminine for my solo show 'Inner Worlds' at The Old Pacific in Newrybar, September 2023.
My second solo show 'Portals' ran from 5 – 26 April at Art Kind Gallery in Byron, exploring moments of lucidity and aiming to cultivate optimism and reconnection.
I'm available for work ranging from set painting, murals, commercial projects, shop fit-outs, private commissions and tutoring.
