This painting of a Blue Tongue Lizard was inspired by my own personal life story. I love reptiles and as a kid I would always go out to bush and catch lizards. The most common was the Blue Tongue Lizard. I would always cross paths with the Blue Tongue Lizard, and I believe this gives me a strong connection with them.
This painting was sold and collected by someone who also shares a strong connection and passion with them.

Keilor East, AustraliaHello, my name is Cameron, and I am a proud Aboriginal man that lives in Melbourne. I go by the name of Gabadj Art, which means in language Black Cockatoo. I have always been artistic in some kind of way through my life. I have connected back to my culture over the past years as we rediscover my ancestors and build our family tree. When I paint, I find it very therapeutic, and it connects me to my culture. I love telling my stories through my paintings and also love telling other people's stories through commission work. I always give updates to my clients of the art process and never hand over a painting until the client and myself is 100% satisfied even if that means extra hours.
