Blood Stained Tears by Toni Deleseleuc in Baltimore
Blood Stained Tears
This drawing was created for all of the people all around the world who lost a loved one during the pandemic. The eyes represent all of our loved ones lost, the red squiggly lines represent their blood that was shed and the dark background represents the dark days we all suffered during the 2019 pandemic.
I’m originally from Baltimore, Maryland but, I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Living in Brooklyn, taught me a lot about big City life, living in the city among so many diversity’s of cultures. I’m self taught born of an Artist father and a Writer mother. I have been gifted and blessed with the best of both worlds. Most of my Artworks are drawings done in Ink with a colored pencil overlay to bring out the vivid colors and bring my artwork to life. I’ve painted Murals on walls and on wood panels. I have a few pieces of my artwork at the Brooklyn Historical Society. I also have several pieces featured on the Fine Art America website. I recently had a piece of my artwork featured in the Artist Close Up magazine. I have over 300 works of art and 5 completed series. One of the series, I just recently completed is Entitled- Turbulent Times. It’s a 25 piece series with mostly abstract pieces of artwork. I’m the published author of three books and I illustrate my own Children’s books. Most of my Reproduction Prints sell between-$75-$500 and my Originals sell between- $7,000-$70,000 dollars. Art is my passion.
