Blacklight reactive & glow in the dark mermaid mural
My client wanted to start an ocean themed bathroom for her fairy shop. We decided together that a mermaid would suit the shape of the door and be fun for the kids in addition to the piece being blacklight reactive and tiny details also being glow in the dark. My client asked me not to repaint the whole door because she liked the color so I just painted the character and background details. I also threw in the light switch cover because I had some extra time while working there:)

Austin, United StatesEmma Strohl mainly works with fantasy, psychedelic, and surrealism themes, but is incredibly versatile between mediums and subject matter. A self-taught artist, Emma has developed her style, skills, and artistic message, organically through life experiences. Emma won 1st place in Bethlehem Pride’s Live Painting Competition and had her first solo exhibition among many other artistic displays in her home state of Pennsylvania. She's recently moved to Texas to continue sharing her art and embed herself in Austin’s art community.
