Albert & Yadi Farewell
This is a piece I began painting during the late stages of the 2022 MLB baseball season. Both Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina were retiring at the end of the season. The inspiration came from my Pujols as he had been my favorite player ever since he came into the league. An all-time legend in the sport and among a very small group of the very best in terms of some historic records.

Meet the Artist
Calgary, CanadaWhen I was young I had a passion for drawing and sports. Although I never put the two together until I was forced to occupy my busy mind in the lockdown of the pandemic. I added a painting portion to my baseball drawings. The first ones were a little sloppy, but over the past 3 years I've been consistent at getting better bit by bit.
I like to paint players in action with back ground architecture. Also, diving into some golf landscapes over the past 6 months. I still enjoy this after 3 years and I believe it's because of a couple of things. It's a release from reality and I can stay connect to a big passion of mine through art.
