Big Papi and the Curse by Jason Wanvig in Calgary

When I was young I had a passion for drawing and sports. Although I never put the two together until I was forced to occupy my busy mind in the lockdown of the pandemic. I added a painting portion to my baseball drawings. The first ones were a little sloppy, but over the past 3 years I've been consistent at getting better bit by bit. I like to paint players in action with back ground architecture. Also, diving into some golf landscapes over the past 6 months. I still enjoy this after 3 years and I believe it's because of a couple of things. It's a release from reality and I can stay connect to a big passion of mine through art.
