African Safari Nursery Cheetah
Part of a huge project covering all four walls and the ceiling with animals, birds and plants inspired by the idea of a fading old children’s encyclopaedia. This took three weeks to create, including the hazy, wispy clouds in the sky. The varied savannah wildlife was a joy to paint, with a few surprises that the client wanted to include such as a shark! The result was a room that is like walking into the pages of an old vintage children's nature encyclopaedia. The clients loved the soft, neutral grassland landscape as much as the wildlife! London, United KingdomI'm a full-time professional mural artist based in East London, and I am incredibly inspired by natural history and obsessed with colour. I create large and small detailed, vibrant murals, inside and out, using acrylic paint and brushes. I paint giant flowers inspired by vintage botanical prints, graceful birds and characterful animals that appear to have stepped from the pages of an old encyclopaedia. Currently Artist In Residence on Toni & Guy ward at King's College Hospital, London.
I have a degree in Fine Art from UAL Central St Martins and have many years of experience in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Italy and Australia.
I am a respectful hard worker and am very tidy and careful at all times. Nothing makes me happier than painting wildlife and I think that shows in my work! I love to see people’s reactions to my work, it seems to bring a lot of joy to my clients' homes, hotels & holiday lets, schools, parks, hospitals, events and businesses.
