I painted this wall at my family home in Suesca, a rural town in the mountains near Bogotá. It's a tribute to my grandmother, Bri, and two of my aunts, Consuelo and Amparo, who also lived here. It is a reaffirmation of my connection to this space, and an offering to it and to all of us who have inhabited.

Berlin, GermanyI am a colombian visual artist based in Berlin with more than 15 years working in public space.
My practice starts from muralism and moves towards participatory projects through printmaking, body mapping and performative actions. Hit my up if interested!
Based on the understanding of historical memory, as a material capable of reconstructing broken social fabrics, my projects foster social interactions that strengthen reconciliation processes in different contexts and countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Western Sahara and France among others.
In 2019, I graduated with honours from the master's degree Art in Context at the University of the Arts Berlin - UdK. I have worked for more than a ten years as an Arts teacher in Colombia, Germany and Latin America. Currently I am a member of the MAL Crew in Colombia, a part of the working group of the station urbaner kulturen of the nGbK and a founding member of the collective art space ilali in Berlin.
