aManigua is an ongoing collaboration with the artist collectives Las Botellas and ASOJORIO in Caqueta - Colombia, northern Amazon region. The project is divided into several phases. The first phase of the project was a three-week journey with the collectives through three different places: Rionegro, El Doncello and Florencia. The aim of the project is to revitalise the already lacking cultural offer in a former war zone in Colombia after the Covid pandemic. To this end, we travelled together in this first phase to create several workshops and murals for and with the children and young people in those places. In addition, there were workshops for the two participating collectives in digital image processing, an structuring and writing projects to promote their sustainability and economic stability

Berlin, GermanyI am a colombian visual artist based in Berlin with more than 15 years working in public space.
My practice starts from muralism and moves towards participatory projects through printmaking, body mapping and performative actions. Hit my up if interested!
Based on the understanding of historical memory, as a material capable of reconstructing broken social fabrics, my projects foster social interactions that strengthen reconciliation processes in different contexts and countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Western Sahara and France among others.
In 2019, I graduated with honours from the master's degree Art in Context at the University of the Arts Berlin - UdK. I have worked for more than a ten years as an Arts teacher in Colombia, Germany and Latin America. Currently I am a member of the MAL Crew in Colombia, a part of the working group of the station urbaner kulturen of the nGbK and a founding member of the collective art space ilali in Berlin.
