About
Hiya, I'm James and I was born in Wincobank, Sheffield. I spent most of my spare time as a youth learning to draw and play guitar, getting considerably better at the former! My education was at Wolverhampton University, and since graduating I have had several jobs in the greeting card industry, including Hallmark Cards Uk. Here I learned to work in many different styles and be open minded regarding experimentation and the use of digital artworking software such as Photoshop. I am experienced in cute character design, contemporary illustration, hand lettering, pattern, colouring books and childrens books. I have also done many artworks of birds, landscapes, buildings and portraiture. With one artwork of Sheffield, I was a finalist in the Sunday Times Watercolour exhibition. Most of my work is created in photoshop but I am skilled in the use of traditional materials such as pen, pencil, scraperboard and watercolour. I am open to doing any kind of design work; portraiture, landscapes, logo design, character design, pattern, murals, illustration. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
