Creating graffiti characters
An upcycling art focused workshop making use of vinyl records and other
existing materials to create quirky and surreal characters.
Inspired by the work of familiar artists like Picasso, Matisse and D*Face as well as
referencing the creation of masks, totems and icons by indigenous cultures from
around the world.
Goons act as guardians or companions for the holder. Participants are invited
to make use of the communal materials to create their own personal goon (or
a gift) during a 2 hour session. They will receive support from the artist-facilitator
throughout. Suitable for all ages, under 12s need supervision.
