"I Love Art" It’s something you will hear Richard say often. And if there’s one thing you need to know about the 50-year-old rising star of the art world, that’s it. Representing snapshots of his memories and a mirror into his heart, his passion for creating shines through every piece, all of which exude vibrancy and symbolize the strength of feeling. Now living in Calgary Alberta Richard first started creating art at 13 in his hometown of Yarmouth NovaScotia. His foray into art was born as a refuge and escape for the young artist. Richard grew up in the foster care system always feeling like he didn't belong, and art was a way for him to feel normal. He sold his first painting at 17, and within a year of that, was able to move into his own place and away from the foster system. His dream as a artist is to help as many kids like him who grew up without knowing their parents our siblings. He wants to make it easier for foster kids to be able to access any information about health history and their siblingsRichard is a freelance digital artist from Yarmouth Nova Scotia. His recent successful online auction in September 2022 has made his digital art very sought after. He has created visuals for the Horizon, Momento and Rarible. He is also loves VR sculptor like in Oculus.Driven by inner thoughts and influenced by music, and his early childhood in the foster care system. He has also become a featured artist on many different nft platforms, like Rarible and Momento where he loves to connect with his community. His recent online auction was very successful, selling out in a matter of minutes.
