About
I'm a Newport News, Virginia-based artist working across digital painting, murals, mixed media, and illustration. I earned my BFA from MICA and my AFA from CCBC Catonsville, and my practice moves between large-scale public work and intimate, object-based pieces — from the Travis County Courthouse mural in Austin, TX, to a collaborator credit on "Building Community / Creando Comunidad," to interactive sculptural paintings built around childhood memory. My work has been acquired for the collection of Dr. Leslie King Hammond, and I'm currently developing new pieces for gallery submission alongside client and commission work. I love bringing color, texture, and narrative into every scale of project — whether it's a wall thirty feet tall or a piece someone holds in their hands.

Murals that actually mean something — pieces where I get to dig into a story, a place's history, or something symbolic. I'm also into character work and mixed media pieces where I can bring in texture and memory. That said, I'm not opposed to simpler "color it in" type gigs either — sometimes it's nice to just execute without overthinking it.

I'll sit these ones out :-

Rush jobs and unrealistic expectations — if there's no room to hit deadlines realistically or the scope keeps shifting,   that's a no for me. Also not the right fit for hyper-realism — that's just not my style or strength.
