At Velvet_Tide_Art, my work explores the intersection of delicate botanical beauty and the rhythmic power of the sea. I aim to translate the 'velvet' touch of a peony and the 'tide' of a sunset-drenched ocean onto canvas, creating oil paintings that feel both serene and alive. ​Beyond the light, my seascapes often embrace the deep, moody shadows of the horizon—ocean paintings designed to bring a sense of dark comfort and quiet strength to any space. Every brushstroke is an invitation to find stillness in the bloom, energy in the water, and peace in the depth. ​While my heart lives in the landscape and the garden, I am also open for commissions. I would be honored to bring your vision to life through custom portraits and detailed sketch artwork.

Midnight Bloom : Peonies in Crimson

Qualifications/Positions:

For years,   my world was Embedded Electronics Engineering. I loved the logic,   the technical challenges,   and the act of creation. But after becoming a mom,   I hit "pause" in the lab and picked up a brush. 👩‍🔬➡️🖌️

While sketching has been my lifelong language,   painting was a brand-new discovery. Although Oil painting has become my main focus and primary medium,   I fell for watercolor because they are so beautifully unpredictable—easily the most challenging "system" I’ve ever had to navigate!
