About
Simon is a norwegian-chilenian visual artist with approximately 30 years of experience in graffiti and contemporary urban art. His works range from paintings and street art decorations to video art and concert visuals. As a young artist, he was inspired by political street and poster art from Chile. Similarly, he enjoys creating murals that tell a story, spark curiosity, or evoke emotional appeal. His work philosophy emphasizes understanding the audience’s needs and fostering collaboration to develop the best solutions together. In 2000, he began working as a motion designer at NRK. After 10 years, he transitioned to roles as a senior designer and later as a creative director at agencies such as Brandlab, Scandinavian Design Group, and Maverix. He has also taught at the Westerdals School of Communication (WSoC) and Kristiania University College. Additionally, he has conducted numerous graffiti and street art workshops for children and youth.
