I’m Kyria, a children’s book illustrator with a love for timeless stories, soft light, and the quiet magic that lives between words and pictures. I’m inspired by classic tales, nature’s little details, and the wonder of childhood, the kind that lingers long after the last page is turned. My work blends warmth, storytelling, and emotion, bringing each author’s vision to life through heartfelt collaboration. What I love most about creating is finding the visual language that feels true to a story’s soul, the moment when color, character, and light come together to make a book feel alive.

I love projects that spark imagination and connect with families, from children’s books to creative, story-led illustration work for museums, castles, cultural venues, and community spaces. I’m especially drawn to collaborative projects that celebrate storytelling, learning, and creativity, whether that’s book illustration, exhibition artwork, decorative pieces, or workshop-based creative experiences. I also enjoy exploring patterns, textures, and visual storytelling that invite curiosity and warmth.

I'll sit these ones out :-

I’m not the right fit for medical or corporate illustration,   outdoor large-scale murals,   or graphic/web design projects.
I also don’t take on work in anime or manga styles,   my art leans toward classic,   painterly,   and emotionally rich illustration.

BA in Graphic Design (France)
Professional illustrator specialising in children’s publishing and creative educational illustration
Experience in book illustration,   character design,   pattern work,   and visual storytelling for cultural venues

Three picture books illustrated by Kyria have received children’s literature awards in the United States,   recognising excellence in storytelling and illustration.
