As a southern California artist, my lifelong passion for creating art started as soon as I could hold a pencil, and has continued being the way I enjoy expressing my imagination and the world around me. My work spans a wide range of styles, from lifelike portraits, fine art paintings to playful children's book illustrations, and simple line illustrations.
I love working with various mediums, including soft pastels, graphite pencils, watercolors, and acrylics. Which I select according to how it will help bring a story, mood, or character to life.
Whether I'm capturing a face with delicate realism, or sketching a whimsical scene for young readers, my goal is always the same; to create art that feels alive, heartfelt, and deeply connected to the viewer.
Along with many years as a freelance artist, I also served as a back-up courtroom-sketch artist for ABC Eyewitness News in Hollywood, California. Also, at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, as a quick-sketch portrait artist. Then in 2001, before Disneyland's "New California Adventure Park," grand-opening, I worked alongside 12 other mural artists for Disney Imagineering. Painting murals, and faux finish backgrounds.
In 2016, I was honored with the commissioned to paint a lifelike portrait of President Trump, along with his wife Melania, and children standing beside him, at his Inauguration Ceremony. Which will be displayed at his future Presidential Library in Florida.
