I’m Mitra Salamzada, a professional visual artist and fine art instructor based in Ottawa. With a diploma in Fine Arts and years of hands-on experience, I specialize in portraiture, animal art, and realism infused with expressive abstract elements. My work spans a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, spray paint, and mixed media—giving me the flexibility to create on canvas, walls, and other unique surfaces. Alongside commissioned work, I also teach fine art classes and lead Lavish Paint Night—an immersive, community-driven event where people can relax, create, and connect through art. Whether I’m painting live at events, designing murals, or running workshops, my approach is rooted in creativity, professionalism, and care. I’m excited to join the Book An Artist platform to connect with new clients and contribute to meaningful creative projects. I value the opportunity to collaborate and grow within a supportive network of fellow artists and clients looking for high-quality, personalized art experiences.
