A passionate artist specializing in oil on canvas, acrylic, and mixed media, I explore landscapes and portraiture with a deep appreciation for history and its influence on artistic evolution. Trained at Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata (1990), my works have been exhibited internationally, including at World Art Dubai (2017) and Fabriano (2025). For me, art is a balance of technique and expression—there is always a method to madness. I believe art should offer something beyond what a photograph captures, avoiding abstraction unless it enhances the story being told. My fascination with the technical aspects of art drives me to refine each stroke and composition, ensuring every piece resonates with depth and authenticity.
