I commissioned Deborah to create illustration work for an ongoing multi-book series. Over several months, she shared some early draft sketches and one map, but no final illustrations or completed materials were ever delivered, save for the map. Throughout the project, Deborah requested repeated extensions due to various personal circumstances—including caring for pets, helping her sister, family health issues, and severe weather disruptions. I accommodated every delay, and she consistently reassured me that she intended to continue. In early December 2025, she returned and stated that she was ready to resume the project. However, after that message, communication stopped entirely. My follow-up messages remain unanswered within the platform, and no further progress was made. As of early 2026, the project has been inactive for over a month with no response. Given the prolonged delays, lack of final output, and complete loss of communication after reaffirming her commitment, I cannot recommend Deborah for projects that require reliability, consistent communication, or timely completion.
