About
Paula is a Madrid-based artist. She studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, followed by a Master's degree in Graphic and Web design and a Master's degree in Teaching, specialising in Visual Arts Her practice spans painting, illustration and large-scale mural work, exploring the relationship between humans and animals, everyday life, humour and the hidden or unexpected aspects of the world around us. Her work is characterised by a playful yet thoughtful approach, moving between observation and imagination. She has participated in collective exhibitions, including a concept art exhibition at the Complutense University of Madrid in Ávila, and has received recognition for her mural work, including a second prize at StreetArt Festival Pintamalasaña. Her murals have been featured in several cultural and public spaces across Madrid, as well as at Bastard Hotel Madrid, MEDT, cultural center in Villaverde and Sport Center in Moratalaz. She has also worked as an illustrator for a variety of books.
