**Artist Bio: Felle**
Felle is a nationally acclaimed artist and proud Detroit native who discovered his passion for painting at the age of 14. His artistic journey has blossomed into a distinguished career filled with numerous accomplishments.
At just 21, Felle took his first entrepreneurial leap by founding “Another Level Airbrushing and Nail Salon.” In 1995, he signed with a publishing company, embarking on a nationwide tour to showcase and sell his art to fans and galleries across the United States.
Throughout his career, Felle has created stunning stage backdrops for a diverse range of celebrities, including Tyler Perry, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, R. Kelly, and Kanye West, among others.
In 2005, he established “Kingpin Kustomz” on Livernois, where he spent the next decade painting murals, customizing motorcycles, and ultimately exploring the world of body painting.
Felle gained national recognition in 2014 when he appeared on GSN's hit reality TV show “Skin Wars,” collaborating with renowned talents such as RuPaul, Rebecca Romijn, Robin Slonina, and Craig Tracey. His deep love for his community and commitment to his craft inspired him to create some of his most meaningful work.
"I want to paint beautiful pictures that reflect the vacations I've experienced and share those moments with everyone," Felle shares.
His journey as an artist is particularly unique, as he is the first in his family to pursue this path. "It just happened; nobody in my family had the talent. It's a God-given gift that I have honed over the years through dedication and hard work."
For Felle, painting is not just a profession; it’s a form of escape and a means of self-expression. "When I'm painting, it feels like a vacation for me. It allows me to create something from within, which is incredibly important. I also believe there’s a magical element involved."
Much of Felle's inspiration comes from music, which is evident in his intricate and detailed portraits. "I have an eye for detail that I strive to capture. I aim for my work to be more than just photogenic; I want it to evoke respect for the artistry behind it," he explains.
Felle is passionate about the power of art and its impact on the community. "We need to create more—paint, sing, and showcase our talents. The world needs beauty, and we can bring it right here from our city."
