Amine BENALI 35 yo located in Algiers, also known as "The Dry Frog," is a self-taught Algerian artist with a diverse skill set spanning illustration, comic books, graphic design, 2D animation, and music. Born in 1989, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2011 and embarked on a career as a graphic designer and later as an art director in the fields of Communication and Advertising.
In tandem with his professional journey, Benali made his mark in the world of manga with the publication of "Sardar" by Z-Link. Following a comic book training at the FIBDA (International Comics Festival of Algiers) in 2011, he contributed to the collective album "Monstres" with his work, "Orgueil & Jalousie," published by Dalimen. His exceptional talent was recognized in 2013 when he received the award for the best comic book project at the FIBDA international competition.
Amine continued to carve his artistic path, participating in various exhibitions and comic book festivals, with notable appearances in Tunisia and Egypt. In 2021, he added another dimension to his creative portfolio by directing a 2D animated music video in collaboration with the talented musician and singer Nassim Djezma.
