Afzan Pirzade is a Pune based Indian interdisciplinary artist whose work encompasses a wide range of styles and mediums. His paintings evoke a sense of wonder and introspection of realism characteristics from street art murals to monochromatic paintings on canvases, Pirzade's diverse body of work is a testament to his artistic talent and versatility. He found that ‘perspective’ is one of the most important & interesting aspects of art. The perspective of the maker compared to the viewer, the difference in intend, meaning and interpretation. Perspectives on concept, colors and composition and so forth. This idea of ‘multiple viewing points’ and opinions is an ongoing discovery in his work. He explores the existential dread, mortality and the afterlife with a deeply unsettling mysteries of the human psyche and the nature of consciousness. His intricate and surreal works challenge us to expand our understanding of ourselves and the world we live in.
