Youth Focus Coffee Cup campaign 2018 by Linzi Carter in Perth

Im a contemporary artist based in Perth, WA. Born in Cunderdin, a wheatbelt town. I developed a curiosity and a playfulness as a young artist, always trying to push the boundaries, by exploring new expressions and experimenting with various mediums and artforms. in 2006 I completed a Bachelor of Graphic Design and Illustration at Curtin University of Technology in and a Graduate Diploma of Art Education in 2016. Japanese Graphics, Street Art and Graffiti are strong influences and I regularly work on large scale projects such as murals and custom designed paintings for commercial spaces and also held an Artist Residency with Karrinyup Shopping Centre for 4years. Having a Graphic Design background has enabled me to work digitally, designing graphics and digital art for Shopping Centres such as 140Perth. I paint live often at corporate events, festivals and teach art workshops. If asked what my style of art is, I'd say a 'COLOURIST'.
