Young consultants journeys by Elske Artz in Amsterdam

My name is Elske, and I have to say that the art in Artz has most certainly been important to me my whole life. I have always loved to create and since a couple of years I have turned it into my job. What I love the most is mural painting, the bigger the canvas the better! My style of art/drawings do well on bigger walls, like they pop. Yet I love to draw and paint on a variety of things, even people! I have made many illustrations, also digital, murals, digital animations, (oil) paintings, and bodypainting. I enjoy working with a variety of media because the shape of the canvas changes and it inspires me to transform my work to it. I would describe my style as a mix of urban art with references to nature and mythology. The works I have created are sharp, clean, perhaps funny and mostly wholesome. It is Always important that the work itself fills up the entire canvas, this creates a strong and well placed look and feel. This is most important with murals in my opinion. The use of colour is a whole form of art in itself and I always want to use colours with a warm undertone to light up a space. My favourites recently to use are cornflower and cobalt blue, and different tones between warm yellow and red. My finest skills are: - being able to paint/draw the sharpest and cleanest lines - creating unique and highly personalised artwork - clear communication and expectations - working fast and independent - being able to adapt the art on scale - work well together and stay creative in changing circumstances - use of materials, color theory, mixing When I would come to work for you, cooperation is important!
