I’ve been creating art for the better half of my whole life and jumped into full time creating for the past year.
My roots come from the graffiti world which always was for abit of fun. Unconsciously whilst wanting to get better at letters it also taught me a lot about technique that has now become relevant with my realism practice.
Some major influences in my work are Salivdor Dali, Jeffery Smart, John Kaye, Joel Rea, Sofles, Semor The Mad just to name a few. They are all incredible artists with just that certain something that draws me to constantly be in awe of the work they produce and inspire me to want more from my art and life in general.
At this point in time I’ve come to be able to paint everything and anything.
My current practice is quite relevant to dreaming and seeing beyond what meets the eye. I try to portray realism in my own surrealist way. The way I’d like to see them, or in a way that would entertain me or the viewer and bring them more joy that just that object within its usual environment. This is a style that brings me joy.
I still feel and know my art and the way I practice and produce it, is forever changing as I do. It will definitely not be the same tomorrow as today. But the idea of there being more or seeing more will always resonate and run parallel with that growth.
