Yo Chi Bear - Newstead by Shaveen Kateleen in Brisbane

Yo Chi put the call out for local artists to submit designs for their mascot Yo Chi Bear at their new Newstead venue and for second time I was chosen as the selected artist. For all their store fit outs Yo Chi likes to incorporate elements from the local area into their design. When I thought of the Newstead area what immediately came to mind was the Brisbane river and people walking their cute little designer dogs around. My final design features landmarks from Newstead park, the iconic Brisbane River, aka ‘The Brown Snake’ and people walking their dogs.
