Working Hands
Very unique mural using painting and printmaking techniques to the theme of 'Working Hands'.
Corporate mural commission for a housing authority who wanted the working /building theme used in the design. Using initial painted base work , then hexagonal wood panels were cut from MDF board then printed using a silkscreen process with hands making and using various building tools , some were printed with abstract designs to complete the composition. Installed in a busy lobby area in the corporate headquarters, this mural is highly valued by the workforce who use the building.
Meet the Artist
Dublin, IrelandI enjoy creating large outdoor/indoor artworks to be seen by the widest possible audience. Outdoor locations include gable ends of buildings, hordings, fences and indoor sites such as lobbies, stairwells , hallways, bowling allies and shopping malls just some of the great locations I have painted in past projects. I enjoy the social experience of painting in a public space as well, either from facilitating groups of all ages & abilities to paint mural art or when working alone, the comments of passers by, it's all part of the creative fun experience.
