My artworks try to show an intrinsic sense of spirit and joy which fills all life. They celebrate emotion and sensuality through the use of paint, brush and palette knife with lines and drips. Each work is an atom of growth in the deep spiral curve of life. I have a degree in Fine Art (Teaching) from University of KZN in South Africa. I love to paint portraits in a contemporary way with bright colours and using palette knife and brush. My paintings tend to be large, when i am free to decide size, around 100cm x 140cm. When painting portraits, I try to capture the essence of the person in paint. Other subject matter is also cool but please no still life's???? I also love painting abstracts and Ballet dancers.
