Wild Life Mural for a Charity In Maidenhead - UK by Happy Days Mural in Maidenhead

Wild Life Mural for a Charity In Maidenhead - UK

A charity reached out to me to transform the wooden block toilet on Ray Mill Island in Maidenhead. They wanted a mural that would celebrate the island’s wildlife, so it was important to depict each species accurately—their shapes, colors, and details. I collaborated with a team from The Wildlife Trusts, along with scientists, to ensure the mural was both realistic and educational, especially for kids. I first proposed a design, and together, we refined it to truly reflect the local ecosystem. To bring the mural to life, I used water-based paints and brushes, creating a piece that blends seamlessly with nature while inspiring visitors to appreciate the wildlife around them. The response has been incredible—people stop me all the time to congratulate me! It’s so rewarding to see how much the mural resonates with the community and brings joy to the island’s visitors.
