I collaborated with Rafa Díaz, Jake Prendez, and Josué López on creating a community mural for the grand opening of the White Center Food Bank. Together, we crafted a powerful visual narrative that celebrates and amplifies the voices of Seattle's diverse multicultural communities. This mural represents the rich tapestry of cultures thriving within our city.
Meet the Artist
Seattle, United StatesHi, I'm Valeria, a Seattle-based muralist and visual artist with over a decade of experience exploring diverse creative mediums. I've fallen in love with the transformative power of murals, completing many projects that bring color and meaning to the city.
What inspires me most is the opportunity to tell stories through art. My approach goes beyond creating visually stunning pieces—it's about capturing the heart of the community and celebrating its diversity. I believe every project is a collaboration, and I take pride in listening to and weaving the voices and perspectives of others into my work.
For me, art is more than a skill; it's a form of connection, self-expression, and discovery.
