West Wyalong land council mural by Darren Cooper in West Wyalong

West Wyalong land council mural

The first of a few governments Wiradjuri Organization in the Riverina district 2010, commissioned a double side archway mural call Biamie and mother earth that was on the back side that I didn’t take pictures as leave it to your imagination for now due to inconvenient timing for photographing in office. The wall was small and easy to reach on step ladder, the land council was impressed with my small canvas images and commission the archway in the front office. The mural took 5 days and if I had been paid a lot more would have been able to contain a lot more of life into the concepted but they were happy with the work and so it was completed. When quoting a mural, I am careful not to over commit my artwork and time, but I do give option for the price what is achievable. So as you can imagine that three tone colour on to basic black is a cheaper option, I can outline black and white shading and add colour if need.
