Wear a mask to be seen and show your face to be identified. by Keinom in Berlin

Wear a mask to be seen and show your face to be identified.

The piece was cerated for an exhibition about faces. I chose to paint the figure of Fiona Galagher from the series "shameless". She is an icon to always continue and support her familiy despite all obstacles that come into her life. She has to take a huge respinsibility in her young age, but always copes it with great humor and enthusiasm. Next to her is a Zapatista woman. The resistance of the indigenous people in Mexico deliberately wears masks to be seen. They use the masks to show their identity. What both portraits have in common is love and passion. The love of life and the passion for community. Technique: Spray paint, oil paint, Posca marker and acrylic paint on canvas.
