Wandering Willow in Costa Rica by Cat in Auckland

Wandering Willow already had an existing book, with the main character originally designed by another illustrator. Unfortunately, that illustrator was no longer able to continue with the series. It was a rewarding challenge to stay true to the original character design while also bringing my own style to the work. The completed book includes 21 full-page spreads, as well as a map, comprehension activities, and vocabulary pages—all of which I had the pleasure of designing. This project was an absolute joy to bring to life. The author was wonderful to collaborate with, and I learned so much about Costa Rica throughout the process. It definitely sparked a desire to travel there someday! 😄
