Waiting for the Dinner by Sayak Mitra in Pittsburgh

I am a Pittsburgh-based artist who works across a multitude of mediums and a range of environments. I've been painting and creating since 2004 and have worked in many creative fields such as web, illustration, and graphic artistry. My passion for painting begun in 2002 and I have been lucky enough to create paintings, murals, illustrations and exhibits across USA and India. I love incorporating local motifs and idiosyncratic forms of visual language into my designs/drawings/paintings/installtions and working hard-edge large-scale graphic walls. Also, I love photo documenting, which is called Collection photography, i.e., photo documentation of artifacts, works on paper, installation shots, studio shots, etc.
