Village Festival and Workshops of Youth Work Balsthal by Take's Artstreet in Zurich

Still doing civilian service at the youth and leisure association, I was allowed to help out at the youth work in Balsthal this week. Beginning with the village festival on Thursday, the youth work in Balsthal had a stand on the meadow. With games and conversations one could come into contact with the children and young people of the neighboring communities, to inform them about the youth work offer. My assignment was to hold a workshop that was accessible to everyone on a previously erected construction site wall. From priming to spraying, everything was included. We deliberately didn't want to give any guidelines and let everyone try it out and if there were any questions about certain techniques, I was there to answer them. At the end I wrote ''Graffiti Matzendorf'' and the ones sprayed before in simple, classic graffiti letters Sayings and forms of the participants were allowed to become the fill-in and the background. It was a great pleasure for me to be able to bring graffiti to such a beautiful place that day.
