During lockdown I moved my workstation to accommodate my dining table and this is the view I would stare out towards every hour of every lockdown day! This was first photographed, sketched in black and white in illustrator using my Wacom tablet and then coloured in on Illustrator as well.

Auckland, New ZealandHello!
I’m Iman, an architecture graduate, researcher, teacher, and illustrator based on the other side of the world - in Auckland, New Zealand. Since 2021 I’ve worked at the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology as a teaching assistant and am currently working as a researcher in Digital Heritage Research Centre at the Unitec Institute of Technology. Since the age of 18 I have been illustrating for a local and international clients, while collaborating with kiwi creatives to host national exhibitions such as "de la Milpa a la Mesa," one that travels around the big cities of New Zealand. When I'm not drawing for myself, I draw for others, or I teach drawing courses. Alternatively you can find me hanging upside down while bouldering if you're also kiwi...
