Veriu Broadway
Commissioned on the back of a successful showing at the Stencil Art Prize Exhibition I created this 2m high industrial scene using hand cut stencils and aerosol The cutting process is extensive and time consuming painting time was approx 4 days to complete
Meet the Artist
Melbourne, AustraliaBorn in a small town in New Zealand, Logan Moody is a Stencil Artist who specialises in a photo realism style, who lives and works in Melbourne, Australia.
In 2008 I held my first solo exhibition at the Growroom Gallery in Auckland, the following year moving to Melbourne where the sprawling urban environment became the inspiration for my work, and as I began to explore these new surroundings discovered my passion for capturing the beauty of city life.
My only mural to date has been painting in the lobby of the Veriu Hotel Broadway in Sydney, where I used hand cut stencils to create an industrial scene.
I have been selected multiple times as a finalist in the Stencil Art Prize, an annual showcase of international stencil artists originally held each year in Sydney (now bi-annually).
I've also taken part in numerous group shows, published a book of photography, and have been creating work for people all over the world.
