Vantage Point
Oil on ultra-smooth canvas. I wanted to portray the idea of purpose and action towards a goal. Vantage Point shows an adventurous young woman at the top of a rocky cliff face at the time of early morning light.
Meet the Artist
Ballarat, AustraliaI work with oil paints on smooth boards, stretched smooth linen or ultra-smooth polyester. I only work with the best quality materials. My paintings reflect a dramatic classical style applied to a contemporary context. My chosen style is representational realism, which requires applying fine detail. The clients I seek are people looking for art that is not simply decorative but makes a visual statement in some way, especially if dramatic lighting is incorporated.
