Utopia by Taopic - Zhuzhu in Adelaide

Utopia

The Lefevre Community Stadium offers a variety of programs and activities that provide community members with a safe and enjoyable place to gather and utilize the facilities. The mural created for the stadium reflects this diverse range of offerings, including activities such as learn-to-skate programs, social table tennis, pickleball, food markets, birthday parties, playgrounds, strength-in-life training, and roller skating discos. In addition to representing the stadium's activities, the mural also depicts elements of the surrounding area, such as sea life, a lighthouse, and outdoor sports facilities. To honour the history of the peninsula, the mural features a map of the Lefevre peninsula, which was originally known as Mudlangga by the Kaurna people prior to British colonization. Additionally, the Port River Tribe's totem, the Black Swan or Kudlyo, is also incorporated into the design. Overall, the mural serves to brighten and enliven the environment, bringing a sense of fun and energy to the community space.
