Hi, my name is Amy ! I'm a multimedia artist based in Byron Bay, I studied ceramics in Dunedin Otago New Zealand. Hand-built clay sculpture is my major passion, but I'm always drawing and sketching on the side. I think of my process as a mind-body connection, where the physical body transforms drawings into tangible objects. As a next step in my practice, I am very interested in making organic, abstract sculptures for gardens and interior spaces. Nature and landscape has remained a steady influence in my Art for the last three years, I feel best connected to Art-making when expressing ideas through abstract form.
