The triple portrait of three canine companions is a testament to the power of a fine art commission. Painted primarily in oil on canvas, this work highlights my signature impressionistic style through expressive brushwork, atmospheric lighting, and a soulful depth in each subject's eyes.
The unique challenge of this project was that the client had three separate photographs of the dogs, all taken at different times and in different locations. Working with my client in a close collaborative effort, I integrated these different subjects onto a single canvas. By carefully adjusting the scale and perspective, I was able to place them all together on a soft, cohesive beach setting, creating a shared moment that had never actually happened. This painting is a timeless heirloom, showcasing my ability to solve complex reference photo issues and deliver a cohesive piece of fine art.
