I am a multi talented visual artist living in Romford, UK. When I create my artwork, it is in my view a metaphor reflecting an alternative response to examine possibilities and extend the boundaries in art. My work tends to represent synergy in the evolving narrative of memory and identity. The link between Africa, Europe, and America (socio economic and cultural development) is very much behind my work with indigenous material (computer wares currently).I have experimented with quite a few waste materials which include aluminium, paper, fabric and smoke. I also work with material that has witnessed and encoun- tered a lot of touch and human use... and these kinds of material and work have more charge than material/work that I have done with paint and brush. Art grows out of each particular situation, and I believe that artists are better off working with whatever their environment offers.” My artwork encompasses every media in my twelve-year career. it focuses on vibrancy and energy possession my artistic practice exemplifies a critical search for alternative models of artmaking that in turn questions the foundation of modernist ideals of artistic independence and aesthetic purity. My ideas were formed in the context of my creative environment marked by artistic experimen- tation and aesthetic research, informed by the belief that great art can be developed anywhere in the world, independent of the so-called art centers of the West. I am motivated by a sense of worldliness that was more imaginative than locational, with an abiding belief that my work could contribute to enlarging the scope of art- making in a much-expanded contemporary art scene. The premise of this concept is to explore the variegated paths of creation I have chosen to formulate a new approach to mural and mixed media art.
