In this mural, Totó la Momposina was portrayed to make visible the artistic expression of his work that exalts Afro roots, in the project of the Colombian Ministry of Culture within the framework of the commemoration of the 170 years of the abolition of slavery, with the reason to represent the struggles and contributions of the black, Afro-Colombian, Raizal and Palenquera communities.

Barranquilla, ColombiaHi! I am a Colombian artist and illustrator, professional in graphic design. I love the sensitive part of art and the communicative part of illustration. I have won awards such as the Wacom Colombia contest, I have also worked with the Colombian Ministry of Culture, music labels such as Insterscop and recognized companies in my country such as Banco Davivienda and Bavaria. One of the projects was mentioned in a Forbes article.
