Torii Mural for a Private Client by Aligory in Berlin
Torii Mural for a Private Client
A wall mural inspired by traditional Japanese Torii created for a private client who is a true fan of Japanese culture. He wanted a calm, understated piece with a clear accent — without overwhelming brightness.
Based on the references he provided, I developed a custom sketch that fit seamlessly into the interior and preserved the Japanese atmosphere in a subtle, balanced palette.
The client was very satisfied with the final result.
Meet the Artist
Berlin, GermanyMy name is Alina. I am a mural artist and portrait painter.
My artistic path developed gradually: I practiced a lot, copied artworks, and later completed three years of digital art courses that gave me a strong foundation in composition, light, form, and working with scale. This base still helps me today when I create large murals.
I painted my first wall at home, and that moment made me realize that I wanted to work not only with a canvas, but with entire spaces. I love how a mural can transform a place, change its atmosphere, and give it a unique character.
I mainly work with acrylics and brushes. It’s important to me that this material is safe for interiors, has no strong smell, and provides a warm, painterly result. Acrylics allow me to combine clean lines, semi-realism, and expressive details — the elements that define my style.
I enjoy working in different environments: apartments, cafés, studios, and commercial interiors. Each space has its own mood, light, and purpose, and I like adapting an idea to the atmosphere of a specific location.
Moving to Germany became a new chapter for me: a new city, new projects, and the opportunity to build my path again. In my work, I value precision, respect for the space, and the feeling that I am creating something that will live alongside people and influence their everyday mood.
